0013 Hovering House

A hovering volume welcomes the owners as they enter the house, standing proudly at the edge of the plot. This conceptual "hovering" gesture lent its name to the project and became the centre focus of the entire building.

The notion of "360" was applied to the house as it was designed to be enjoyed in all spaces and in all floors, blending the ground and upper floor as one. An earthy immateriality was chosen as it reflected the owners BOHO aesthetic. Plants were suggested at the perimeter to best regulate the micro-climate of the building and create a special environment for its users.
